Ingredients:
For the loaf:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
Zest of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (toss with a little flour to prevent sinking)
For the glaze (optional):

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
Preheat the oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper.
Make the batter:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Stir in the sour cream or yogurt, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined.
